Learning Structures is proud to play a leading role in the development of truly accessible playgrounds. With our ability to custom-design each play structure to specific needs and site features, we continue to create state-of-the-art, highly accessible playgrounds that offer real play opportunities for children with the broadest possible range of abilities.
 Our accessible playgrounds include structures that provide easy access and independence for children with mobility limitations. The disabled child, peers, and caregiver can use a Giant Glider Swing simultaneously. Special swings allow a child who lacks good body control to be safely strapped in and enjoy the swinging sensation and encourages socializing between peers. We provide access to castles and stages using ramps. The stages can accommodate children with disabilities as participants on stage, or as spectators in the audiences.
Accessible Playgrounds:
At Learning Structures, we go beyond the traditional accessiblity concepts. Beyond ramps, decks, and transfer points. We involve everyone into the design. We involve everyone into the construction. And, most importantly, we involve everyone into the PLAY! We have a wide range of challenge course structures that are free of hazards and free of fear. The Pixel Wall and Music Wall use textures, colors, and musical notes to spark creativity in children while play areas such as raised sandbox with a water play station harmoniously integrate children of different abilities.
